Short sales CAN be frustrating. But many times, if the package is submitted properly, with all of the necessary documents that the negotiator requires, and the offer is one the lender can work with, your chances of a quick approval grow exponentially. Here’s an example of an FHA short sale we submitted, and in only 3 hours, had the approval!
Of course, this isn’t the norm. Heck if it was, there wouldn’t be nearly as many foreclosures out there. But, it is proof that if you know what you’re doing, you know what the lender needs and expects, and you treat the negotiator as you want to be treated, good things can happen.
